Ok, i need some serious advice.  I have a 1990 240.

Its only got 70,000 on it.  Its blowing small amounts of blue
smoke at high RPMS.  Its eating about 1/2 oil every 100 miles.  I dont know for sure if its rings or my intake/exhaust seals.  I know I cant do either myself on this car, and I probably have to have the head(s) sent out ot be rebuilt if I want the job done right.

I dont know what to do, and I dont have more than about 500-600 to fix this car.  I like that car, but its really starting to be a real pain in the azz.

Thanks for all opinions and advice.

sounds like the piston rings...swaping a used ka in there should be about the same as replacing the pistons...well...if ur not doing it urself ...hope it all works out &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

Oil is passing to your combustion camber if u got blue smoke, ( burning oil) you are going to have to replace ur piston rings.

In worse case escenario u got a hole in the midle of the piston making oil leak from there to the combustion camber. But today's cars usually dont do that anymore.
