Megan Type 2 are cheap and look really stock also they are pretty quiet in 3000 rpm, but after you pass 3000 it get loud... sound pretty good for a 300$ exhuast

+1 on hks hi power the one with the smaller piping for n/a cars. my buddy has this and i must say it is just a lil bit louder then stock and it sounds soo crisp. looks just like any old exhaust, but super quit. best i have personally heard on ka:hsdance:
i myself am looking into apexi noir cause im goin turbo and i personnaly never want to get pulled over for modified exhaust. then they start askin "whats the fmic for?" then id get my car towed:mad:
HKS Hi power. Not to loud very nice sound
+1 on that, run a resonated test pipe if you're going to go catless.
I run a canister exhaust with a slim resonator on a stock KA and it sounds niiiiiceeee
seriously
another vote for HKS Hi-Power
I run the 65mm one on my na ka..
get the 85mm ones though

steve shadows is big on circuit sports dual tip exhaust. i'd trust him. he made more pwr with that than with a more "free flowing" type.

just a heads up for people in cali: i talked to a friend of mine who is a cop and he told me that cops rarely write fix a tickets for exhaust these days, they will straight send you to the state ref, but you can fight it because its not against the law to have an exhause as long as its after the CAT.

Yeah I got popped with a exhuast ticket about 2 weeks ago in Long Beach. The cop told me there are no more "fix-it" tickets for exhaust anymore (in Cali), you have to still get it signed off AND pay the fine. I don't have the notice yet but from what I hear the fine is around 200 bucks.

My 3" Fujitsubo is silent. Sounds good at full throttle and is super quiet the rest of the time. ~$200 used.

I have an Apexi N1 Dual right now, and its not screaming loud, but pretty loud. Im running it with an ebay resonated test pipe, and no tickets yet....
But I would definitely have to go with the Apexi Noir Exhaust to be on the safe side. Looks awesome, quiet, but very aggressive, and sounds like music to your ears...

another vote for HKS hi- power. i've run the same exhaust on my ka and my sr and its super quiet at lower rpm but opens up nicely after 4k or so. its great for on the freeway too (can still talk to people and hear music :p ). it sounds real smooth and has a great tone. after over 3 years its just now starting to break down a bit and sound louder but i don't mind.

Well whatever you do, don't run open piping from the turbo back with a Blitz Nur spec can. I need to do something about it soon, it's too loud even at idle.
don't even think about going past 3k, it's just rediculous.

thanks for the input guys, paid off the ticket. i think im gona try to go with the circuit sports. it looks real nice, and it has that resonator. do you think i should get another resonator inplace of the CAT?
