I want to go sleeper for now....I don't want to spend extra money for another bumper because I have 97 headlights and fenders waiting to get installed this spring time.
How badly is it cracked?

its cracked on the driver side scoop...nothing bondo couldn't handle. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sly.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':sly:'> The bottom is scrapped because it hangs so freakin low. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
Hey I just did my 97 front end conversion, it was pretty simple...but took me about 4 hours. The hood and headlights are the hardest parts.
I see if it shows on my old pics....
HERE (http://mason.gmu.edu/~ggaisey/accident/4.jpg) is a quick pic to show you have its scuffed up.
one more...kinda dark:

I have my original bumper if you are interested. How much are you willing to spend on it?

Hey GT spec R,
Was the 97 conversion straight bolt on?? I heard that the 95 bumper supports don't line up or something did you have problems w/that... Can you tell me what problems you had?? Thanks. email reply to pauls14@bellsouth.net
Do you have better pictures??
What do you mean by it's cracked? is it cracked all the way through or only half-way.

The conversion was straight bolt-on, excluding the headlights. I will e-mail you on that part once you get things going. As for the reinforcement I had to take the 95 out and replace it with the 97. This is because the 97-98 sticks out more, evertyhing sticks out more...from the fender, hood, and bumper. But since you have a FMIC you do not need to buy the reinforcement because it will get in the way. However I would still buy the bumper bracket which connect to both fenders and adds some support for the bumper.
Sorry I do not have any better pics, I could only take better pics once I get my car painted. Its cracked all the way....so I doubt you still want it. But I'll sell it cheap. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

I just got in an accident w/a dude running a redlight. The cop reported it as his fault so I'm gonna be raking in some insurance money to pay for a new front end. Luckily my engine wasn't damaged nor my intercooler.

Dang that sucks, but its good that your okay and nothing happened to your engine. Well I guess your doing the conversion sooner than you thought....just like me.....and for the same reason.
Good luck <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
