i believe that year will fit. i did the q45 swap and brakes are awesome. make sure to resurface the rotors before you use them and make sure they are within specs, i think 26mm min or something like that. if you need a bmc upgrade let me know i've got a couple laying around. also...do a search next time, there's plenty of info out there about the q45 brake up grade. direct bolt on. good luck

one more for you:

I did the q45 brake upgrade. You do NOT need anything special. Just go to AutoZone and buy a loaded pair of calipers and a pair of rotors for a 1995 Infiniti Q45. You can use stock brake lines, and the stock mounts. However, I would suggest picking up a set of braided stainless steel brake lines. Just buy OEM replacement for your 240sx.

I went to tirerack.com and picked up Brembo rotors for the Q45, brake lines for an s14. Then I went to O'Reiley's and picked up a set of loaded calipers for a 1995 Q45. You have to pay a core charge.

But, I returned my s14 front calipers for the core charge. I even told the guy what I was doing, and he was fine with it. However, most people don't know the difference between the s14 and Q45 calipers, so they won't pay attention if you return your s14 calipers as q45 calipers and don't say anything. I'm not suggesting you do this, but I'm sure it would work.

This was for the fronts only. Front calipers + front rotors + brake lines for all corners.

The only thing that I don't like about the Q brakes is the lack of race pads for them. If it wasn't for that I would be doing this conversion.

you shouldn't have anymore questions when you read this link.

also go 5 lug and get s14 95-95 se rotors for the rear at the same time!

The ’90-’96 Infiniti Q45 is a V-8 powered 4100 pound beast requiring LARGE brake to stop it safely.

Luckily for 240sx owners, these big brakes bolt right on - all you have to do is remove the heat shield.

Q45 brake calipers have 2-pistons (43mm each compared to a single 54mm piston on the stock calipers), the rotors are 11 inches in diameter and 28mm thick, the larger pads have about 40% more surface area, and the two pistons will give you about 25% more clamping force compared to the stock brakes...

I used Endless pads in mine. Endless makes pads for the Q45s.

Endless is waaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy overpriced though! And I must correct my previous post it is the hps's not the hp+'s.

When you do this, don't forget to CHECK YOUR CLEARANCE. I did this, and couldn't figure out why I got a LOUD screeching/scraping noise, even after double checking. Turns out that I didn't peel back (after cutting) enough of it on the inside of the rotor (closest to the engine). It dug an indention into my brand new slotted Q45 rotor -_- Small, not enough to affect performance.

Just remove the dust shields completely. They're not spot welded or anything, just pressed on. All you need ia a flathead screwdriver and a hammer. If you're careful you can remove them without even damaging them.

you could get carbotech to make you a set of q45 race pads. A bit pricy but from what i've been told, Carbotech brakes are pretty awesome.

Just adjust your stock BMC so the pedal doesn't hit the floor.

I ran the SS-S and they run 160 retail I believe. Amazing pads. I run those on my Z32 with the stock 26mm aluminum calipers and I have yet to fade the brakes. I've boiled my fluid before even getting to fading the brakes.

for the q45 upgrade nothing needs to be done to the brake master cylinder. for the z32 yes, but not the q45 ones. get stainless steel lines, rotors, ichiba 5 lug hubs, and some wheels to get you started. :bigok:

After mine, my brake pedal was squishy and went all the way to the floor (properly bled - speedbleeders all around). I had to adjust my brake pedal stiffness via the brake booster adjust rod.

ok thankyou, what are some BMC upgrade options? cuz that would do more for me than adjusting to booster correct? btw its a manual S13
