What is the story behind these? IE: how do they have such low mileage?

The pistons look like they had carbon build up that was cleaned off. A properly running ka shouldn't have much of any buildup after 15k.

I'm a Nissan tech i condemned a motor a year ago due to the block leaking coolant from the coolant ports on the block. it was easier for me to replace the motor than to replace the ports on the block and it pays more to replace the engine. i had the motor sitting by my bench ever since i took the motor out.. the motor came out of a 2004 Nissan frontier the frontier has the same engine as the 240sx a ka24de the only difference is the front covers so i knew i couldn't sell the engine whole because of the coolant leaks so i decided to part out the motor i have the crank the head oil pan oil pump basically the parts from the engine and i threw the block away because it was no good. so thats the story behind these pistons and thats how they have low mileage.
