Okay so here is the deal.....I am going to be upgrading my turbo to a Garrett ball baring Gt30, adding 550cc injectors, and a MAP-ECU to my SR. I Also want to rebuild my head, port it, put in new valves, springs and retainters, Cam gears and camshafts. I know it's gonna be around $5000 for everthing but what my question is...is do you think it would be better to rebuild the head now with all the new parts to be safe...or do you think I could just go with the new turbo, injectors and ECU on the stock head and run it for a while without runing into problems and rebuild the head later on...???

Preventative Maintenance is always the best kind of maintenance.

Save yourself the trouble and do it while you can. Don't risk screwing up other parts.

Goodluck.

ROCKER ARM STOPPERS = MUST

finally someone that doesn't want a tiny t28 frame (good call on the gt30r)

why not just build the bottom end while it's apart? if you're going through all that trouble u might as well, only thing left is pistons, rings, bearings, metal hg, and arp studs...... why the hell not?

since you're only gt30r i'd say you're hp goal is in the 350ish range? you can get tomei pon cams, port the head, metal hg, arp head studs, and rocker arm stoppers and call it a day.

CAM GEARS ARE A FUCKIN WASTE OF MONEY (i wish i could make the font bigger)
