Basically, this is a BOLT ON air ride kit
Include:
Coilovers (CST)
Airbags (aerosport by UNiversal Air Japan)
Compressor
valves (to controll each axle individually)
two air tanks
3 ft stainless steel leader hose with new one way check valve
Switch box (old school 10 switch style, can wire up small on-off-on toggles to make it cleaner)
and air line (you MAY need more, but if it was enough for my cedric, it should be enough for your 240)

basically, all you need to do to install is this:
Put YOUR tophats on(mine are y33 specific)
power line from battery
IGN source wire for compressor pressure switch
and run your air lines

instructions will be supplied for a painless install that can be done in around a day or less.

anwyays, here are a few pictures from when i was installing it
Ride is SUPER stiff on above 90PSI (top is 130psi)
stiffer than the coilovers were with the 8k/6k springs
this setup IS CAPABLE OF DRIFTING ON. its not sloppy, its liek an infinately adjsutable spring rate in a sense. if its too soft, add a few PSI, and it stiffens up.
if you have questions please ask!

this is sick, but i have a question. you said above 90psi they will be super stiff, but if you inflate them that much, wont you be sitting 4x4 style? or am i missing something, just curious.

bump for some sweet ish.

put it this way
all down
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2193/2094616259_3d8a0f9ff4.jpg
all up (140 psi)
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2221/2079603971_ca8347c03e.jpg

ride height at 90 psi
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2352/2178351771_2e0cfe244d_b.jpg

ride height at 60psi (still stiff)
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2199/2238056171_b48249288f_b.jpg

coupled with coilovers, it WILL be as stiff as the coilover was, and with higher psi, stiffer.

+1 for a great idea for our cars. I looked into doing it as a custom, one-off conversion using mini-truck stuff, and didn't feel like tearing apart my Tanabe Sevens to try. Would be a great upgrade for someone with stock suspension, nice wheels, wanting flexibility.

Do the CSTs have adjustable preload separate from ride height? Meaning an upper set of "spring holders" in addition to the bottom set? It doesn'lt look like it in a couple of the pics, but it does on another. Because then you could set your ride height to whatever you want, and use the bag for a 3" adjustment from 'on the ground' to 'driving', or 'low driving' to 'clear curbs'...

yeah,
its a full dual adjustable shock with damper adjustability as well
just like stance, tanabae, hks, etc etc

i have some questions.

so it'll be as stiff as it was with the springs at a certain psi. and then if i wanted it to be stiffer, i could raise the psi but it'll also raise the car right?
(and i can also just adjust the damper to make it stiffer too)

and how much height adjustability is there between 0psi and 140???

sorry, all these adjusting is making me think alot

If you get this, it would be perfect to get around that Height requirement on Guam.:wiggle:

come on guys, it isn't that hard... you can use the locking collars for rude height adjustment, and the airbags for fine height adjustment, control ride height.... just think of this setup as in it has springs that can lengthen or shorten at the touch of a switch. Your height adjustment perch doesn't move unless you manually move it. What i would do is figure out what PSI I like the ride at, set it at that PSI and then adjust the collars to the height I wanted at that PSI, and then take it from there.

Alright i have a question.

How much is this without coilovers?

will these work with coilovers that have dampeners?

last one... will this setup work with my Sustec Pro SEVEN coilovers with the TEAS (electronic dampening)?
