I just got back my car from the shop, the problem that I am haven is when I let off the gas and the car revs down in neutral it seems as if the car wants to cut off. The car does not cut off but it does seem as if it does. Does any one know what this problem would be?

my sr does the same thing. i thought it was my bov being atmospheric but i recirc'd it and its still doing it.
anyone wanna elaborate on the iacv possibility?

if the motor is not yet warmed up then its no big deal...but it might be the idol control like the other guy said..

well, i would take it back to the shop and tell them to make it run properly....
buuttttt sounds like some type of boost leak or a timing problem. have you checked your timing recently? does your car have any cold starting problems?
definitely clean your idle air control valve. there is a procedure somewhere on here.

Definitely check your vacuum lines, intake tract etc.
Maybe there's a fault in your wiring, a break somewhere. Check your ECU for codes.

umm if its not that try the vacum lines one little splice in a line and it can run like crap

so you got an sr swap at a shop...paid shop rate...and they didn't give u a bov with ur swap?
when you let off the gas the boost can't go anywhere so it forces itself back to your turbo which produced it, causes compressor surge and forces itself out of your air filter in the opposite direction across ur maf, while your maf is trying to measure the air being sucked in.....then all of a sudden a rush of compressed air is being forced back through the heating element the other way, if you were the maf....and ur job was to measure the air flow coming in to the engine, how the hell would you be able to do that, as well as measure the air coming out, if all you are is a heated element that sends a voltage signal to a processor as you cool down from the air that blows passed you........i don't see how ur setup CAN'T make ur car run like shit....
turbo's produce boost, when you boost, then let off the gas. the throttle body closes. meanwhile inside your intercooler pipe is pressure aka boost. it hits your closed throttle body like a brick wall, now the momentum of going in one direction, stops dead in it's tracks, and has no where to go but back the opposite way it came from.....it needs to go somewhere......................................... .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ................................

a good ground is a terrible thing to waste!
and if you DO have a bov, then yes u either need to recirculate it back into the intake snorkel, make it stiffer and bump up the idle a tad, or go blow through with ur maf (that means putting the maf in your intercooler piping a couple inches in front of your throttle body)
blow through maf is the best option, but i would recommend not doing that until you get something to tune with. And wtf kind of shop puts in a turbo engine and doesn't put a bov with it........t25's are already a rotary engine waiting to blow up, lets give them compressor surge to help them die sooner FTW!!!!!!!!!! (sarcasm :D)

take it back to the shop and make them do it.
