View Full Version : KA-T bottom mount intake (charge?) pipe? EGR block off?

Hey guys, I'm building up my KA-T still even though my car is gone. :cry:

KA24DE-T
Bottom mount T28
Z32 MAF

But, I'm having a problem making my charge(intake) pipe.

I bought some 90* elbows and I have a small aluminum 45* elbow, but I can't get the z32 maf to clear the fuse box.

Does anyone have a pic, or a list of parts to buy to make a flawless clearing Z32 maf charge pipe?

Also, do I NEED to block off the EGR? I already PM'd a member selling his, is it as easy as just blocking off the hole that the EGR pipe goes to?

You don't have to block off the EGR pipe.

I welded 3 quarters into my buddies EGR to block it off lol.

For your intake pipe, You can get the measurements.

Get your pipe, cut weld and fit it.

I don't wanna weld anything to my engine block, in case I get reffed, I'm gonna buy one of those block off plates.

Your fuse box, you can always unscrew the little bolt holding it down, Its able to move 5 with 5 inches or so play.

or relocate the fuse box. That's what I'm doing.

Yeah, I am just looking for someone to show me their intake set up thats all.
