IMPORTANT:
To get the Speedometer (other instruments works fine as is) to work correctly you need either the S15 rear end etc or a VSS Converter the one I recommend is Dakota Digital's, very easy to set up and use.

would this plug into a s14? i know i would need that converter, but would the connectors of my s14 plug into the gauge cluster?

It will work but you need to change a few wires, I have the JDM S14 and S15 Shop Manuals which list everything out if you need it.
As far as fitment, here's a pic of ohne in an S13

That's an S15 dash.
if u guys do some searching it will give u the answers you need. s15 cluster fits way better in a s13. not very fun to wire up. and no this cluster does not plug right up to a s14. If it was that easy dont u think every one out there w/ a s14 would be sporting a s15 cluster if it was almost plug and play?

wasnt askin about the wiring! was wondering if he knew how the fitment was in a s14 dash. not worried about the wiring.

well the actual plugs from the s13 are totally different from the s15 cluster.
how would it work then?
