So I was reading that "coilover thread to end all" and found nothing at all. I just want some input on these coilovers. Im about to shell out 1200+ on some coilovers and I want to be happy with them. I dont plan to have much track use, but more DD with a sporty ride.
Heres the 3 im debating over...
Stance GR+ Pro Coilovers
JIC SF-1
Greddy Type S Coilovers
Also, if any of you are selling anything like this, Im interested.

First of all, I'm sure you read this in the Coilover thread, but there is no such thing as a soft coilover. If you want a soft and comfortable ride, don't get coilovers. I, personally am getting Stance GR+ Pros because I know more people that have them and like them. I don't know too many people with anything else.

i have GR+ pros. no complaints. though ive only put 4,000 miles on them. i never drove the car on any other suspension, including the stock one. i hardly have any seat time. but all the other S chassis guys around me are rolling on them also.
Stance is good. Good valving, good spring rates, good ride.

I have Stance GR Basics, 5k+ miles on them and I am completely happy with them on my DD. Plus I think they're rebuildable in the United States.

i think you should go out and try to find people with these coilovers and ride in their cars to decide which to get, instead of asking what other people think. Everyone will say they like what they have; whether it be Stance, Tein, GReddy (didn't know they sold coilovers), or JIC.
Stance's struts apparently have a wider range of dampening than most of those Japanese ones though. Cars with Stance coilovers that i've ridden in do feel better than the Tein coilovers I have in my car.

Stance GR+ here and very happy with them. However, I have only put 800 miles on them. I agree with SilverBullet, that is how I decided on my GR+'s. I also think that the GR+ Pro's would be a little better on the street as opposed to the GR+'s. The helper spring does add some cushion.

I have Stance GR+ and my nephew has Tein Basics. For a few hundred dollars more I got monotubing, fully threaded shock body, adjustable camber plates, pillow ball mounting and the ability to slam the sh*t out of my car if I wanted to. Plus my Stance GR+ handles a lot better over bumpy roads compared to the Tein Basics. I know you didn't ask about Teins but those are the only two experience I have with coilovers. My nephew wishes he would've gone with Stance, I don't have any regrets.
of those three... Stance... I'm a big fan of my Tein Flex.

I also heard a lot of good from Buddy Club and thier coilovers... But im leanin more towards Stance right now.

If you wanna DD your car with only very occasional track use I would highly reccomend the TEIN flex. They are pretty much hands down the most comfortable street coils. I love mine on the street, but they leave a bit to be desired at the track.
