Well the other day i put on a intake on my car. After i installed it and drove it it would bog whenever i floored it.I checked all the hoses and made sure everything was on correctly.I put my stock intake back on and everything ran fine.So i thought i could just run the cone filter at the end of the maf.I tried that and it would bog again when i floored it.Put the stock air box back in and it ran fine:confused:Anyone know why my car does this?

what motor? if the filter is a wet style, it will clog the maf, you need a dry flow filter or a simple metal mesh filter.

Sounds like a vacuum leak after the MAF. Are you sure there are no leaks or unplugged fittings on the new intake?

all the fitting are good.when i take the cone filter out and put the stock airbox back in everything runs fine

i replaced the fuel pump.I did the filter to awhile ago with a z32 one but the pump was the actual problem. It took about 15 minutes to replace.
