ya, that one was at connell nissan at the very beginning of this month. both mike (wish one) and i drooled and took pix. the owner was there and was talking with the manager about how he's sending the ecu out to mine's to have it reflashed, and having one of their titanium exhausts shipped over too. theres pix in the gtr thread. post 712

technically its street legal here. its just rhd. the production specs don't vary much from the jdm to the usdm version (yes i'm well aware of the numerous differences such as the speed limiter, but as a generalization...). just like you can get a rhd saturn or jeep from post office surplus. it does pass us crash testing and us epa laws. and even though it is a grey market vehicle, but if you check out jspecconnect's site, you'd see that jdm imports is their main business. that's what they do. nissan is trying their hardest to prevent any grey market vehicles being sold outside of japan, they're even going as far as threatening legal action against any dealer who ships one into the uk (there are articles in max and banzai all about it) but i dunno what if anything they can actually do about it.
