been posting this hog on ziptied, time to give a taste everywhere else. this is my nopi 08 competition car. ls1 s13 onevia with sexy style version 2 and ls1. i'll continue from its current state a few weeks back...

"ummm, why do these things take for fucking ever. feel like zero progress has been made on car but work on it all the goddamn time

had gas tank acid dipped, installed new fuel pump and all new o-rings/lines/whatever then truck bed lined that shit

spl arms worked out perfect, clear coils awesome can go low now :D

recaro spg's got here but no rails yet, damn justin :( haha

got gauge cluster template cut but no rice meters installed so thats just flat out pointless

made mount extension for e-brake cables (they were 300zx why didn't they jsut bolt right on? fuck.)

installed solid subframe bushings

got fuel lines all an setup

made final pulley mounts and alternator cut on motor plate mounts, this coming weekend will have actual motor inside and mounted up finally yay

oh, cool stuff

got radiator sprayer all mounted up with oil cooler as well, no more ghetto getting out of car and spraying radiator down yay

new belt fits and everythings good, motor in this weekend for tranny mount creation. pull it back out, rod bolts, katech oil pump, small valvetrain stuff, reinstall for good. then its typical plumbing/wiring. realistically this car is not far from done at all, getting so damn excited :)"

My best guess is he mounted it back there instead of the passenger side floor is because the sump for the dry sump setup is right under the passenger side of the dash, that ish get's hot! I've burned myself on one before. Back there it should be away from alot of heat.

made my own relay/fuse panel under dash. inside of dash it has white led dome lamps for at-night trouble shooting and all the relays are fused with fuses that light up when they blow. trouble shooting will be MEGA easy!

finished up my rear harness and loomed it. similar to the front, this harness only has 5 wires for radiator water sprayer pump, fuel pump, brake lights, running lights, 12v constant. also added a neat little dual relay/dual fuse panel back there for super quick diagnosis of water sprayer/fuel pump problems...

yes, stock ecu. ls1 ecu is a rarity in a sense that it can be reprogrammed for things like maf delete/o2 delete and be tuned to a wide variety of parameters. not piggy backed, tuned.

we started this project because we just suspected s14 was well on its way out, but the more it gets hit, the more it comes alive. now i'm stuck in a situation where i can either sit out like 2-3 events or fix s14 and have it the rest of the year, so i chose that option. plus, it'll make a killer backup/just in case car for next year since new motor shouldn't be going anywhere. we'll see!

your lookin at it there, the nubby end is a welded cap. i took the hardline and cut it right after that branch off so i could complete the "U" to go back to the thermostat. i used vacuum nipple style caps on the throttle body provisions just in case i needed those otherwise i would've welded them shut as well.

stupid small shit is so annoying, s14 brake lines have like 15 too many bends and i have no idea why. i was looking in an s13 engine bay the other day and it hit me that those things would fit right in, and not require crazy line bending as they're made to fit with z32 bmc already anyways. turned out pretty cool i thought...

alright, no more questions just answers

1100 rpm, adjusted ONLY by the throttle body stud/nut adjuster
no stumbling, no hesitation, it catches revs, its awesome

and this is all done with 300cc bigger injectors than i'm tuned for. i can only imagine it getting more perfect with injector adjustment on the pfc.

oh, and if you thought my car was loud before...its LOUD now. LOUD LOUD LOUD i love it!!! dual 4" blowin out grandmas hearing aids, turn that shit down girrrrrl
