I bought some doors from a company in FL (what a coincidence) and still haven't received them. It's been since April. Cheapspeedparts also known as All Revved up. Anyways, I've gotten the shipping runaround and have lost the huge amount of patience I obviously have.

Has anyone here actually gone though with filing charges for this type of situation? i'm not talking about the online fraud reporting website but real legal action.

if you mailed the check to the person, you might be able to pursue action with the post office general.  that is considered mail fraud.  or callthe local authorities in the guys area.  i am sure they would stop by and make their presence known.

or have one of our fine board maembers who live down there stop by for you.

Hey, I live in Tampa, FL.  If that shop is nearby, I'd be happy to get your info, drive there, and raise all sorts of hell!  Post or drop me an IM as to what's goin on.

Thanks jeff
I'm not looking into theatening anyone... at least not too much. I'm just tired of these punks ripping people off. It seems I'm not the first. After the lostprojects s**t,  twice is too much. I've done alot of business this way and most of it goes fine but just a couple people screw it up.  Anyways this guy Kyle, the owner of the shop replys to my email saying "People get screwed on ebay all the time, good luck". Funny thing is they are a shop and I didn't mention anything about ebay. I let you put 2 & 2 together. Anyways $250 isn't really much to me but I'm not gonna let this go. That actually goes the same for Ian. Whats the deal with Tampa anyways? I'm 2 for 2 out of that city.

How did you pay?  Credit Card?  If CC, then cancel payment.  Check, put a stop on it.  Money order, put a stop on it (I think thru the postoffice.)  If it's too late, talk to the money order company, or your bank (check) to find out where it was deposited.  Call their bank, call the local police in the city, and start a war against the company.
Or... let me know, and I can put the fear of god into the owner. &nbsp;Either myself and a pair of sais, or a gang of people from Bradenton. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
Those are my suggestions.

Sadly, I paid with paypal. People keep tellling me to call the local police but I find it hard to belive that would work. I'm ready to hire a lawyer to get these guys.

If you paid with paypal, did you use a Credit card or your bank account? &nbsp;Have you tried talking to your bank about it? &nbsp; There is an affidavit that you sign at banks and you get your money back, and then they will persue the company.

I paid through bank transaction. I'll have to check on that. The guy tells me that All Revved Up is no longer open so I may be out of luck all together. Of course I can't say I believe him.

They used to have an online complaint form, but it looks like they've changed quite a bit. &nbsp;I filed a complaint with the FBI Internet Fraud Complaint Center awhile back and I actually received a response from a local law body in the region of where the person who ripped me off was from. &nbsp;Who better to get involved than the FBI...Usually, just those 3 letters will get most people's attention.
