well there are a lot of variables that are NEEDING me to sell it, most of it is money, or lack there of, pluss if i want to get another 240, there is an s13 around here with a seized motor that would be a good track car if i want it....
and i just want that all elusive 1g awd turbo dsm!!
allways have always will

just did the kelly blue book on my car and with the exact miles it has on it, and all options it has, and kbb said it was worth $8,550, so i think $8,000 is a fair price

I checked KBB with my area code and assuming it's an SE with all the options and selling it private party value it comes out to be $7025. KBB is always higher than it's suppose to be. I'm looking for an S14 SE myself, but one under 6K.

I think $8000 is a somewhat fair price--you have a rare car, so the KellyBlueBook shouldn't determine what price you sell your car for--it should just give you a general idea of its estimated value after depreciation w/ miles and time. Two things you have on your car that make it worth $8000 is the ABS/LSD that barely anybody has. NADA, Edmunds.com, and KBB don't factor in the fact that the car is rare--yours in particular. It does have *somewhat* high mileage for the price, but if you find the right person, you may just get really close to $8000.
I'm gonna do the same thing w/ my car. I've looked on AutoTrader.com w/in 300 miles of my home and in the past 2 weeks, only "3" (yes, three) S14's have been advertised--they are very rare in my area. So, hell yes, I'm going to start asking for more than the KBB value.

300 miles eh? That would include the D/FW metroplex and we have a whole page of them to sell. They come in and out. Now for my .02 cents. Honestly you might be able to get that, your car is 'rare'. hell I bought my 240sx (for 2100) and sold it for 4200 to some guy in Dallas because he liked the wing on it (I bought the car with it on there, aftermarket). Anyways, you may get that money, you may not. Honestly 8k is a lot (is it a manual?) Then again, I am in Fort Worth, TX where the cost of living is a lot less, hence cars are less. If you want that car gone tomorrow, list it for 6k. If you want to wheel, deal and negotiate, then leave it at 8k. My parents thought I was crazy when I wanted 4,200 for my car, but all I did was wait for the right guy to come a long who couldn't say no.
