sure we are pretty much like a club, we all help each other, ask opinions, and talk cars.... but has anyone ever thought of making this into an official organization? with shows, and all that fun stuff.

not saying I wanna be the one to make this happen...... but I'm just curious if anyone thinks it would work.

I think it was a matter of that there would be way too many people in the club, but I think that at some point they were suggesting splitting zilvia into regions where you could get local shops to get discounts and such, but I don't think west has the time right now, especially since he is still working on fixing up the site. So give it some time, it might happen.

damn cali people, if there were any cool spots somewhere in the middle it would be nice to hold the convention around here, but I guess Nissan NA is a lot better than cornfields

That would be sweet ass. Have different regions and all of that. I would definately come to a national meet in Cali....even though it's about a two day drive. I don't know what everyone elses opinions are, but I'm all for this.

There already is an internet-based national 240SX car club.

This year's national convention at Nissan HQ was held officially by the 240SX CCA. Next year it's in Atlanta.

pffffffffft! Upstate has most of the history, most of the land, and half the population. I can build a mansion in my hometown of Sylvan Beach for the cost of a studio in Manhattan. Better roads, nicer folks, and you can see the stars at night.

Wasn't there some big Nissan meet in Tampa I believe, looked liek a very good turnout. I would rather drive to ATL than cali, I prolly wouldn't bring my 240, assuming I have one by then, but I will kill if I don't have one by end of march.

Any tracks in Atlanta

Road Atlanta.. (mmm... f1 race track) and Roebeling road. Roebeling would be much more likely to actually setup a track day. No idea what Org. would setup an event at Road Atlanta. I know NASA doesn't have any..
