Ok, basically i need to kinda tweek my rear suspension on my stagea

the mounting is the exact same as the s chassis on teh bottom

Problem is hte Top mounting location is towards the outside of the car is further out than an s chassis so it is closer to the wheel

well, i need more clearance, SO, i need to figure out a way to move the lower mounting point inwards. by about an inch or two off the LCA.knuckle thing.

anyways, any ideas?
I was thinking ge ta longer bolt put some washers spacing it out, and bolt it on...

any better ideas?

Isn't the lower shock mount cast into the knuckle?

He wants to move the lower coil/shock mount in toward the body, away from the knuckle.

All I can figure is a Bushing with a spacer built in.

Or run a wheel that fits better...

may seem like a lot of work, but try finding a stud/bolt of the same design and knurl as the stagea but longer and air hammer the stock one out. press the new one in, then get a bushing washer that is thicker than the old. same as your idea but more in depth i guess.

The lower mount is not cast in to the hub. It's a 20mm stud.

so where can i find a larger one?

Your local machinest. Unfortunately I don't know of a longer one, so you'll have to get one made.

i agree with veilside180sx. A new custom stud is the right solution. I assume you have done some homework and measured coilover body/overall spring diameter that allow the most adjustment you are looking for.

this isnt for a performance purpose
its a coilover that iwll have an airbag on it on my stagea

the top mount position makes the shock sit stupid close to the wheel.

Anyone know anyone at a machine shop that can help
