*s14 Zenki amber corners*

so this clean ass green Zenki SE was at fudruckers yesterday, and the first thing I noticed was his amber corners. so I was looking for a minute, thats when the owner comes out with his girl and comes up to me like he was gonna do something (cause of his girl). but then we started to talk and the I asked him about the lights. how much and where do I go to pay. this dude thinks about it and then tells me 160 bucks and there mine, right off his car!. I thought about it then said fuck it. but I wanted some, so I went out and got the stuff I needed and well....... here they are. what cha think?

I actually like how the ambers look. You get sick of clear corners after a while.

Damn $160...?!! Usually people with 240 are pretty damn nice, I guess where I live tho. Not very fond of the amber corner lights but thats just me. So how much did you actually pay to do it yourself? $5 at the hobby shop for the paint...?

Vans Lens Spray. They have many different colors.

All you need to do is buy the Amber color.

Done. Now you have amber signal/corner light. It's beats paying a shit load for some amber signal/corner lights.

People make huge strides to get away from the school bus look, our cars luckily come properly equipped with clear lights, yet you guys are out paying $160 to make it look like ass again.

I paid like $4.75 for the amber glass stain and an applicator sponge. ( with a Michaels discount that is) and it took like an hour or so.

I prefer my corners clear makes the headlights look better and clear bumper lenses and side markers are so 90's :rolleyes:

yeah I like the complete clear look across that the zenki has, but my lights are yellow as hell and it didnt look right. clear corners and yellow ass headlamps. so I painted them for the time being till I get the german ones or a nice set of JDM lights, then I'll go back to the clear look all the way across.

It depends on the look of the rest of the car, I think. On some cars I like the amber corners, while on others...

The Van's Lens spray works very well.
It cures hard and is pretty durable

If i had a zenki again, I would put yellow bulb in the corner to match the yellow headlights.

Also the turn sign do come amber in jdm land, so the dude the OP dude met might has an jdm bumper with jdm signals. However in Japan their corner are still clear and you can buy one of those cover to make it amber .

I couldn't switch to amber corner lights. I think it looks too old skool, but they look tite on your car though. I might change my mind. :drool:

I think ambers only looks good on some colors.
White looks great on or any other shade of white.

Green like mine, dont think it will look so hot. Maybe if I borrowed somebodies ambers i'll try it out haha, but i dont want to mess mine up. Only thing amber I have are the sidemarkers.
