S.W. ShowDown Schedule:

6:45 to 8:30 Driver sign-in and tech

8:45 Driver Meeting (all drivers MUST attend)

9:00 to Noon Open Practice (will be broken down into skill groups)

10:00 gates open for spectators

Noon to 3 All Skill level Competition with prizes and points for all skill groups!

3:15 Awards for Comp. Winners.

3:15 to 5 Open Drift!

That's the course I thought we were running for NOPI. It will be interesting to drift that part of the track, as well as going the opposite way.

I thought Pro-Am was no longer being held as a point series holder for FD. I thought the announcments were that each FD event was going to hold a provisional event the day before??

thats a way better layout than the nopi qualifier good luck to everyone going i suggest you start on a setup you know well the track conditions change very quickly from insanely sticky parts to slick down grades

This is false INFO!!! i have talk to the event ORGANIZER and they said that the ARIZONA promotores pulled out of the event...!!!

SO MEANING THERE IS NO PRO-AM AT ARIZONA!!!

From information gathered from our local forums this is no longer a Pro Am event, all Pro Am information removed from the event information.
It is showing the event is still happening at the same location, date, and time..but will be a open event not a Pro Am Qualifier.

I just received a refund for the pro am qualifier from Jim. Really unfortunate it didn't work out. would have been fun to compete rather than take photographs. alas may be next time.

this would have been a Pro-Am quals.. meaning you will be people who have never drifted and also will see pro's.

Difference now is you dont have a chance to be judged and get a Pro Am license.. only difference.

This event was Amazing! Thanks to all the sponsors and the out of state drivers for making the journey. Thanks to Ernie, Forrest, and Gary for making the trip. I'm glad we could help with the truck situation! It was really a great time going tandem. I hope you got everything worked out and had a safe drive to Cali.

I'll be looking forward to the next event!

This event was HOT FIYA!!

It sucks that all the people who came out for the NOPI event got turned off of the track and didn't come out for this one, because they missed some amazing driving. It was super fun all day.

Upside is, the Kart track owners somehow love drifting now, and want people to have events there all the time! I'm looking forward to the next one.
