View Full Version : help plz! break pistons not goin back in
I was driving to resurface my brothers rotors and all of a sudden i come to a complete stop due to my rear breaks being metal to metal. coincidence. So i decided to do a full break job and after taking all of my rotors and pads out and buying new rear rotors, my passenger rear break piston wont budge. i tried spining clockwise it with a needle nose plier or forcing it in with a c-clamp. With the c clmap i went to the pint where its pretty hard to turn it and i got scared i might break it. and on the other side I think i took out an e break screw from break caliper or something. and break piston went in. so in total i took out 5 screw from the right side and 4 screw on the left. do you think it matters?
o yeah my car is a s14 98 base. soorry if im a little bit hard to understand

I didn't understand the 2nd half of what you wrote, but you have to turn the rear caliper pistons. There is a special tool for it too, but I just used needle nose pliers on mine.

Go to Autozone.
Rent the tool that's specifically designed for the rear calipers.
About 5 minutes later, you'll be done.
