Hey guys. I have an '87 Conquest (Mitsubishi Starion), 2.6l intercooled turbo. It has a reworked head, good turbo, runs and drives fine, pulls hard, all that good stuff. Basically I have been wrenching and "restoring" or "Newifying" things on it for about a year now. Just put new Injector clips on, put a hardpipe from turbo to airbox, 1st gen DSM MAS, gonna rebuild the throttle body ~Tuesday when the parts come in, no serious mods, just a manual boost controller set at 10lb's, NGK plugs and wires, cap rotor, OVC Hard pipe w/ HKS blowoff valve, ya know basic stuff.

It's got good black leather interior, no cracks or anything, dash is straight, the old '87 radio with the equalizer still kickin.

The car has a few issues that I want to be honest about, for one you flip 2 switches and push a button to start it because the keys were lost...now this isn't some "The Fat and the Furry" crap, it's very discreet and nicely tucked under the ashtray, and small, round rocker switches, not LED gear levers that whistle when flipped.

I put a doorlock from a nissan Stanza in the driver door so it has a key to get in the driver side, and really it would be very easy to put whatever lock you would want in the doors...it was a quicker job than I expected.

The only other "Issue" with the car is it has some rust in the usual places like the passenger side (The A/C had a tube that ran into the pass. frame rail to let the condensation run out there, but it caused that area to rust. **You can see the spot under the pass. door jam in the pic**
It's also on stock black paint, and some is chipping away, some looks like maybe some brake fluid was spilled on it. Also, around the fender wells are a little rusty from years of tires slinging water in there.

Past this, there are a few dings here and there, and the back bumber has a tear and that's it I think.

It's a really fun, rare car, and everyone seems to just love it, love the widebody, love the 2.6 4cyl...and coming under boost this thing is super torquey. Has a (If you know anything about these cars) bulletproof limited slip (At least that's what they all tell me) To be honest, I absolutely love this car, it's built like a tank, the interior is rock solid, you know what I mean, you get into my Trans Am and you can shake the console back and forth...not this bad boy...it's like a brick. But, it's hard for me to source parts for it up here, and I will have a lot more opportunities if I go with an s13 coupe.

So, there it is. I would like to trade for a fairly clean, good running s13 coupe.
If I can't trade then I would like to sell it for ~2500bucks, buy the coupe that's less than a mile from my house and start all over with a blown up car that sat for 2 years and try to get it together since I have a good s13 hatchback, but a tree fell on the hatch and really screwed the back up, but it has a 85k miles engine and good tranny, etc. but it's in Mobile....so I guess you can see that I just would like to trade this one for a coupe one way or another.

If you are interested and have a stockish 5sp. coupe and are close or can arrange shipping I would love to see some offers. I am pretty short on funds ATM, else I would just keep it, since I really do love it, but I need a coupe. :)
Don't care too much about the condition as long as you can drive it, it's not wrecked, blowed up, etc.
Would also be interested in a clean roller plus a little cash...just so long as I can get to the same place I am now, a decent, running, driving car that I can start working on and drive.
Thanks for looking guys, and let me know what you think. I will try to get some better pics soon, and I'll post them if there is any interest, but for now I will give you the ones I have, I think they show all the problem areas so as to be as honest as I can be.

**Price** $2500
**Trade** S13 Coupe

Wow...80 views and not even a whimper?

Well, I forgot I also have a set of suspension techniques springs that will go with it, and I rebuilt the throttle body today...probably do something else soon. Somebody at least tell me I'm out of my mind or something :P
