how deep is it? is it just the clearcoat, or is it into the paint? Showing metal?
If you really want to make it look shiny and purdy again, you'll want to sand the door down, and repaint it... but I doubt you're willing to do that, so my most realistic advice would be to either get some touch up paint and see what you can do, or, more likely, live with it. It's just a scratch, they're inevitable.

I've heard good things about those colored wax pencils, but I've never used them..

The best thing to do is find a shop that can touch it up for you depending on how deep the scratch is. I found a guy that fixed all my dents and craked bumper and paint it for 200 bucks on my last car, he did one hell of a good job.

I actually read today in Maxim that you can fill in small scratches with fingernail polish. I'm assuming that is is only regarding scratches to the clear coat. However, I think this method would be extremely difficult to get to work...considering it would be nearly impossible to smooth it out to match the concavity of the body panel or door. Maybe it would work better on a flat surface that is parallel to the ground..

If its not too deep, go buy some meguairs Scratch X, I used some of this on my old car it seemed to work pretty well. What I've used on my 240 for light scratches so far is rubbing compound, excellent stuff.

I am extremely lucky. Since I'm getting ready to sell my car, I decided to get all the scuffs buffed out of it (every single one of them happened before I bought the car). The bodyshop that fixes all our wrecked cars for work said they'd do it for $50 (yes, that's FIFTY)--this is buffing out all the scuffs they can buff, and mixing touch-up paint & touching them up, then buffing again to smooth those spots out.

Think that's a pretty good deal?!?!?!
