I have a problem in my ka24e 240sx where the speedo works and sometimes it doesnt. i was told to change the speed sensor but i want to know how to instal it and what to expect.

very simple it will be a round cylindrical type sensor located to the rear of the tranny close to the Drive shaft on the bottom right side (if looking to the front of the car) . Its held in by a 10mm bolt
BUT!! drain the Tranny first or be ready for a giant mess and make sure you have enough gear oil to fill the Tranny back up

A Diagram if that would help even though this was a long time ago maybe it will help someone whos searching for it. Got it from the dealership, anyone know where I can get a good speed sensor for a good price? (I got the same problem) o.o

Or just jack the rear of the car up higher and you'll be ok, no spill long as it high enough.
