You know were the electrical plug is for each fuel injector? Well the rubber boot is really cracked, and when i am driving i can feel that some cylinders aren't getting fuel, so the engine shudders. The same thing happens when idling, and if i try and figget with the connection, it gets worse. What shouls i do? I have a 90 fastback, and don't know if i should try and get new ones from the dealership, or try and find them in a junk yard? Any suggestions are welcome,

Go to a junkyard first. It'll always come out cheaper then brand new. I'm not sure exactly what wires you're talking about, but you could always try to fix it yourself somehow, I really don't know how bad it is or how fixable it is without seeing it, so... I don't know.

duck tape or electrial wire could fix this problem real easy....a little electrical intuistion....
1. un hook the battery
2. get sum copper wire and ties the individual socket to its spot on the injector...tape them individually with electric tape
3. duck tape everything
4. u r now a cheapo bastard <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Ok the connection i am talking about is at the top of the fuel injector. Each injector has two wires leading to it, connected by a rubber boot. This boot is what is all messed up, and i really don't want to use duct tape under the hood! I will check the yard tomorrow morning, and see if there is a KA24E with the wires still connected. Does anyone know what these connections are called?
