i have an 89240sx. and i just finished...or so i thought wiring up

Its a 89 shell with a 97 motor and 92 wiring/ecu/maf/exhaust manifold...

so everything is done.
and it looks nice,

but
theres no hisssss when i turn the key... so no fuel pump... so i got a new one and nothing
and i tryed another relay and checked the fuze
and tryed another ecu
and still nothing....



on a sub question
i havent changed my intake manifold......its the s14 intake manifold still
will it run bad with it on
is it a need to change to a s13 manifold

is that or could that be a reason why its nonfunctional?

on another sub note. i am a member of ka-t. org and they couldnt help me and ive heard good about yous...

OK. so i have no power to the fuel pump/no power to the relay,
so therefore its a wire somewhere off ignition? thats cut/not making proper contact?

is everything plugged into the pump harness in your trunk?

what were the acutal relays you did check? did you check both the ones that are labeled EGI. i'm pretty sure there's two different ones.

but if the pump was working before you swapped in that motor, it must have something to do with teh way you wired your harness to your chassis.
