So I took a flywheel to the machine shop to have it resurfaced and they ground it flat:duh: . When I told them there is supposed to be a lip in the center he got out his book and looked. Sure enough it said .006 lip. Now we are not sure on the diameter of this area so he can regrind it. I don't have another flywheel out right now. We are trying to swap out a blown motor this weekend and need a flywheel for the motor going in. I searched it the FSM but could not find it. Any help would be great.

I was thinking about going a bit larger then the diameter of the clutch. But, I would rather get the right distance and not have issues.

THANKS!

Just use a stock clutch disc and make the diameter about ~3mm larger than the disc friction area on the flywheel.

Yea thats stupid whoever said that, don't leave it flat you'll loose a good bit of clamping force.

^Yup, With the clutch masters clutches they tell you to do that. But, I could not start in 2nd gear, would slip after continous abuse......
