Well I finally got everything to put together the turbo side of my redtop. I tried to put everything together tonight. The problem is that the 1st runner is hitting the turbo outlet. I tried it with the OEM manifold and it worked but was pretty close as well. Anyone have any ideas? I'm sure im not the only one running this manifold. Thanks in advance.

that's probably a common problem with ebay manifolds. they're not tested post assembly, they're more of a copy of a copy of a copy and measurements are guestimated. hah

Yea, it's ebay shit, I've never got anything from them that just went right on.

Hammer the runner, lol. Make clearance where there is none, it's what happens when you buy cheap shit. Live with it or get better quality stuff.

I would run the stock manifold honestly since you are working with cheap shit, and I'm assuming on a budget. Not worrying about cracking the manifold is nice.

try to get your money back for the ebay stuff. fitment is usually an issue when it comes to buying ebay stuff like this.

Thats what I was thinking, but wouldn't that throw off my intercooler piping? I was pretty set on running the Ebay since I already had it but if its too much work i'll just go oem.

I had to beat the runner in few mm to get it to clear.

On the ebay divorced elbow i had to do the same to clear the steering column

other than that garbage i had them on the car for 5yrs with no other issues.

maybe the pounding made it crack proof :).. lol

but yea.. clock turbo if u can.. or pound it.

yeah, rican is right --^. i had to give it a pounding. but my fitment problem didn't seem as severe as yours. my turbine outlet bolted up and juuuuust made contact with one of the runners, but i pounded for good measure. i wouldn't clock the turbine if you really don't have to.

that manifold that downshift posted looks totally different from the one i have. #1 and #2 go under #3 and #4.
#3and #4 are also level not staggered like that see here http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u283/odomandr/car/DSCN0298.jpg

This is about as far as I can go, the runner is touching.

Heres a pic of the stock manifold, still very small clearance.

Nvm decided to go stock, had to pound in almost half the runner to get it to fit. Thanks!
