Engine: SR Redtop, all stock T25, SMIC etc etc

A few days ago my #3 injector was flooding my cylinder out and the car was running like shit. So I pulled it out and replaced the small o-ring, it was pretty much shot. Cool. Everything is going great car seems to be running good except for the boost leak I'm having when the system starts to gain pressure above 3k RPM. When I would turn the car off, it wouldn't start back up unless I unplugged the fuel pump, started it, then put the fuse back in. I fixed this problem by replacing my Coolant Temp Sensor, viola!

But...

After driving around for about 30 minutes with everything fine (except for the boost leak) I notice the car running a lot rougher. Definitely seemed fuel related. I pull into my garage and I notice the exhaust is pouring out white smoke and the smell is none other than fuel, I think my friends said it was shooting out raw fuel even, so I turned it off and haven't ran it since.

I just replaced the spark plugs with stock SE-R platinum ones but I think the gap may be a little different?

I'm at work now, but when I get home I'm going to pull the injectors and check the o-rings out, I'm hoping thats the problem. I don't think its MAF related, I can get over 2500 RPM...

Fix your boost leak first.

Seems like ur car is running to rich.

Also, my fuel pressure is ~40psi with vacuum and ~45 without vacuum plugged in (at idle).

edit:

Fix your boost leak first.

Seems like ur car is running to rich.

I've triple checked my piping and the couplings, and I'm sure they're air tight. So it's either my BOV or intercooler leaking when pressure starts to gain in the system. I'll be upgrading to FMIC within the next couple weeks.

What BOV are you running?

What BOV are you running?

stock SMIC with stock BOV recirculated back to the intake after MAF.

Mmm.

Try to eliminate the OEM bov, by capping it off with a rubber end and clamp.
Drive the car around with it capped off. See if you get power, and if that takes care of the boost leak.

Or get some windex and spray your intercooler. look for bubbles! :fruit:

Your car HATES YOU!!!!!

Anyways, boost leak will cause raw fuel to dump out. Secondly FP is too High... Its 43 with Vac unplugged. 36 with Vac Plugged. You dun have a tuned ECU, so that is owning you right now....

Did your roomie help you with your car again?

Ok. I think I've pretty much found the problem. Pulled all my injectors, the small o-rings were either WARPED or just torn except for the 3rd one (the one I replaced).

Now correct me if I'm wrong but, the '91 SE-R upper and lower injector o-rings DO NOT work for the 370cc redtop injectors correct? Because I think thats what happened here, my roommate (lol slider don't get flustered) put the SE-R upper and lower o-rings on my injectors and I was reading the SR FAQ and it says the correct o-rings are the '96 300zx TT o-rings... going to advanced tomorrow to pick them up.

Hopefully this is the fuel problem, then I'll attack my boost leak.
