Just but my 18x10 +20 in rear... and front stay with 17
tested drive it.. and feel like no tourq at all...
Will im still running stock KA24DE... this is why.. b/c KA has no power..
And your point is?
I'm running 18x10.5 in the rear & 18x9 (they are forged though, but still 18's) w/ 265/35R18 tires & it feels just fine.
Might be heavier & bigger, but the wider tires give me quicker autox times.

You have a stock KA?
That size wheel is going to be to much.

Not only is my car basically stock, it's automatic. I get better lap times w/ 265's than 225's, so 265's it is!

It's called grip.

haha as above, you dont lose torque, but since you have a lot more grip your car will tend to bog down more, as the torque is being used through the wheels onto the road :P

You're dumb. It has nothing to do with the level of grip. :loco:
Unsprung weight is causing your newfound lack of power. More weight = more work for the motor to spin the wheels = less power.

you will lose wheel torque for oversize wheel, or even wider tires

Man stop hating on the guy, his english is not that good woopie doo... at least try to be understanding.
Yes your car will feel sluggish/weaker with heavier unsprung weight.
Unsprung weight = suspension/wheels/tires weight
It takes the motor more effort to make it spin... that is all.
However you'll get more grip and road holding, probably sharper feel in steering. So yeah.. get more power. Try to be non staggered, don't go for looks, if you go for looks well, welcome to zilvia you'll be cool haha

Why? If you can't understand the question, you're supposed to lower your intelligence by trying to decipher chicken scratch ebonics? Sorry, I don't subscribe to that nonsense.
Intelligent post = intelligent answer.
Stupid, poorly written post = flame.
