Was wondering if this muffler is too I guess small?PICS

I have seen other mufflers on S13s especially around here that I park beside and have a lot bigger mufflers and I am wondering if mine is that small?...It has 4 inch tip and 3 inch inside... heres pics

To me I feel that my muffler is to small and I am not getting the loudness I want even with straightpipe and was wondering if that muffler is a POS.

it could be a pos. But what do you want from it? ya want it to be loud and raspy like the typical HONDUH? Personally I want the smallest, lightest, quietest exhaust possible. With no raspy raspy "fart pipe" sound.

I want a good loud low tone from it and on this muffler you can only hear it good when its at nearly 3000 RPM hard to explain though.

^ yeah and with that baffle being how close it is near the outside I wonder if that is taking most of sound and tip isnt long enough.

I just dont get how people say its small even though its a 4inch top with 3 inch inside.

No one said it was small. I heard that the new "cool" thing to do with the exhaust is to cut a hole in the floor and to reroute the exhaust into that hole. It sounds awesome and makes you SUPER fast :coolugh:

There is already plenty of information out there about proper sized piping and and various exhaust reviews.

If you wish to show off pictures of your car, use the proper thread.
