I have just recently installed some McCulloch 5000K HIDs on my car. I did the 98 conversion to the front so I have the projectors. I had the CATZ 125W 4300 color bulbs that were like $60 and they aren't ANY comparsion to these. My friend has an S2000 and we had some friends drive our cars down the road, then towards us and to my suprise, we couldn't tell which one was which. I Love these lights and would DEFINATELY tell everyone to do this conversion to their headlights. I'm never going back to the "Eurolite HID XENON" blubs.

I got them off of this guy in California. I got them for $350, and they took about 15-20 mins to install

hey what's the 5000k supposed to represent? They seem to come in 6000k, 7000k, 8000k. Do they mean they're just brighter? I can't imagine needing HID's to be any brighter than they already are. Also, if you got the '97 headlights, you're running H1's correct? where'd you mount the ballast? Can you take pictures of the install and the results?

I have a '97... i'm looking into one. two of my friends got the Eagle HID kit from rollhard. It's not that bad, with minimal glaring. Wondering if there's any problems with yours.

Anything pass 5000K is pointless. What these numbers represent is the shade, color or ray of light the bulb is going to shine. For example 41K is bright white, 50K I believe is cool white and as it goes higher you get purple and green. With '97 headlights he is running H1's.

I'm interested also since I have '97 headlights.

Couldn't be any more correct. The higher the number the more purple the bulbs look.

Kinda OT: Has anyone put H.I.D.'s in the stock 95-96 headlights? I was wondering how they look considering the headlights are frosted, hmmm. If ne one has done this do you have any pics?
