Does anyone know if there is any difference between the s13 turbo lines? Are all their fittings and threads exactly the same? The problem I have is I bought the oil restrictor fitting from ATP for my new gt2871r and I have S14 turbo lines. I tried to install them and found out that they don't fit. So I'm planning to buy another set from circuit sports but I'm worried that the oil restrictor fitting won't fit cuz I heard it's made for the Taka lines. So if i buy the s13 turbo lines from circuit sports, do you think that oil restrictor fitting will fit?

It should fit regardless of who makes the lines. I'd still go with taka lines though, earls fittings and ss line is quite nice.

I wasnt able to use my CS oil feed line on my car. The factory Banjo bolt was too short for the banjo fitting on the -3 line (fitting was wider than the OEM one), and would thread in far enough into the block. IDK if anyone else has had this problem or not. I ended up just using the OEM Oil Feed Hard line, which is no big deal, because that will hold up to more pressure than the -3 anyways.
The water lines worked fine, although on my setup i had to shorten up one of them to fit perfect. No big deal. Im glad i got them.

ahem no. Taka made here in the states. Circuit sports are put together in Taiwan, while they are decent the quality is not at the level of Taka. Taka are Earls fittings with ss lines put together by hand personally by Harp, who takes pride in his work. Handmade vs production line its like comparing a Ferrari to a Ford.

Yes...and if you have a problem Harp will answer any questions you have, without hesitation, try to get that with circuit sport. Support those who put real effort into their products!

I'm not questioning the overall quality of the circuit sport lines. I am stating that Taka lines are better. Also, like the OP stated he wasn't sure if the oil restrictor he was going to get would work with his lines, so why didn't he just call peter, paul, and mary @ circuit sports? Its probably b/c they don't exist. Look, I'm purely making assumptions about CS cust service. For al I know they could be helpful (if they exist), but I know for a fact that Harp is as helpfu as anyone that I've dealt w/since I been into modding cars. Once you talk to him, you can't help but want to buy from him. As a matter of fact, I could almost gaurantee you that if the OP buys the oil restrictor from Harp, he'd be glad to help answer any ?'s about it fitting on the CS lines.

I don't understand the question.
Does anyone know if there is any difference between the s13 turbo lines?
What does "s13 turbo lines" mean? Redtop vs. blacktop? Oil vs. coolant? CS vs Taka?
Are all their fittings and threads exactly the same?
What fittings and threads are you comparing?
So if i buy the s13 turbo lines from circuit sports, do you think that oil restrictor fitting will fit?
It's hard to say if mixing and matching manufacturers will fit in general. It's best to stick with one brand all the way through. That said, if the restrictor fits in the thread, and has a -3AN fitting, it should fit.

I had to re-read this section multiple times and I'm still confused about your question.
From what I can gather, this is what happened:
1. You have a GT2871R and S14 turbo lines. This part is confusing because it's not clear what engine you have. KA? SR? RB? S13/4/5?
2. You bought an ATP oil restrictor.
3. You can't get the lines and oil restrictor to fit.
4. You want to buy "another set" from CS. I'm not sure what you want to buy. Do you want to buy completely new lines? Do you want to buy new oil restrictors? What do you want to buy?
5. You think the "another set" is made for Taka lines. What does this mean? Like I said above, as long as the restrictor fits in the thread and has -3 AN fittings, it can fit in any oil line.
Let's start over. Please answer these questions so we can help you better:
a. What engine do you have? KA? SR? RB? Also which generation do you have? S13 SR? S14 SR? S15 SR?
b. Can you please take a picture or post a link of the ATP oil restrictor and "S14 lines" you bought?
c. Can you please describe or take a picture of how you're trying to install the lines and restrictors?
It's really hard to figure out what's going on if you're not clear.

This is the truth. I support Harp 100% because he always goes the extra mile to help you out.
If your overseas parts don't fit, good luck trying to get support.

If the fittings come to you assembled you'll never notice a difference in quality.
Circuit Sports is probably just the B-stock earls like summit is anyway.
I had the circuit sports lines. they're fine. paying extra for earls fittings is retarded.

I don't believe this was ever part of the argument. If you want the absolutely lowest price, ebay>*.
The argument for Taka is the support. You can save a few bucks buying elsewhere, but most vendors have questionable support and no warranty. With Harp, if you have any issue at all he'll help you out even at cost to him.
Harp has done a lot for me over the years to get my setup straightened out. I cannot say the same about ANY other vendor that sell these parts. At best you'll get replacement parts. At worst you'll get the cold shoulder. You're on your own on how to get the right part as far as mail order goes.
If you want the lowest costs, assemble the lines yourself. But the OP needs help because he can't figure out how to get oil restrictors to fit so he needs more help. My original recommendation still stands.

Doesnt CS use the factory banjo bolts? My Taka lines had nice AN fittings.

The engine I have is a s13 sr20det blacktop. I'm going to be running bottom mount gt2871r .64a/r. I bought circuit sports turbo lines off a guy on this forum and realized after that I got turbo lines that are made for a S14 sr20det motor. The lines that I have are a bit different compared to the s13 turbo line kit.
When I tried to put the stock banjo bolt thru the oil line to bolt up to the block, it wouldn't even go thru. The banjo bolt was too big for the oil line fitting.
The coolant line that goes to the back of the head area won't fit because the fitting is different.
I searched on the forums and came up with buying the oil restrictor from ATP (http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ATP-OIL-021&Category_Code=ATP-OIL1) that people use with taka lines. I assumed that the threads from the restrictor to oil line would be the same. I still don't know if that is true yet because I don't even have the correct turbo lines kit right now. That is my concern that I want to know if I buy new S13 circuit sports turbo lines will fit with that oil restrictor?
Hope this will help. After reading the posts, I've decided to go with what works best with my setup and I'm going ahead with buying Taka lines. I'm almost done my new setup and something like this happens is frustrating and I don't want to end up buying the circuit sports lines and not fitting with that restrictor. That would waste a lot of time and money. I believe in better quality will cost a bit more and I'm willing to pay that extra cash to get it. That being said, I've searched around and the cheapest taka lines I've found go for $160 plus shipping. Anyone know anywhere cheaper I can get it from? :P Thanks for your help guys.

You should always get TAKA lines...here is why.
I bought Taka Lines from Harp for my S13 SR to a GT2871R....
First:
I wanted a different water line, b/c I was switching to S14 waterneck. I sent him the water line back, and before it had even got back to him, I already had the other new line in hand, at my door.
Second:
In the process of installing my oil line, something wasn't right and the oil line was leaking from the neck near one of the joints. Called Harp, and at no charge, he had a new line with a sturdier joint in the mail to me and got there 2 days later.
Unsurpassed customer support and best quality there is.....don't skimp over 30 or 40 bucks.

Can't argue against a higher quality product. but really, if you buy the right set of lines to begin with I can't ever see needing "support" on a couple of hoses that you can rebuy for 5$.
