ABS and LSD

I'm looking to buy a 240SX SE hopefully by the year's end. I was wondering if it's worth it to wait for an SE that has ABS and LSD (they came as an optional package correct?)? Or shoud I just grab the first 5-speed SE that's in good condition? I know good things come to those who wait and yada-yada, but would it be more worthwhile to just get a junkyard LSD off of a 300ZX instead? What about ABS? I'd like to take it to an auto-x eventually, but not for some time though. What do you guys think? Oh, btw I'm new to the forums. hh if yu ar goning to get a 240sx just grab a good one.Abs is ok but not all that imho.I have no lsa but will get one soon I am titred of peg legging corners.I would get &nbsp;lsd after my basic training.

if it were me i would wait for the abs and lsd

reason being the abs can save your life and your car (personal testimony) and are a great help, its a little extra weight, but well worth it!!!

and lsd well that speaks for itself!! &nbsp;i have drived a gar without and my car that has it, and let me tell you you cant beat it!

yes u should wait...to think bout it i didnt even know my car had lsd when i bought it...i thoguth it was just a regular 240sx SE...non lsd...but with ABS..it ended up being a 240 wit lsd...so iw as mighty happy with that...im very lucky! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Good luck man, I just got the first decent SE I could find because LSD is so hard to find. Personally I didn't want ABS, you just have to learn how to pump the brakes. If I were you I'd just get the first S14 that I like, regardless of whether it has LSD or not. The whole car is gonna be a few thousand dollars, while a stock LSD (used) is around $320. You can just replace the differential later cuz it doesn't make a big difference in the overall cost of the car.

The ABS LSD package can't be THAT hard to find can it?? I bought a non SE that had the package and at the time all the s14's I was looking at had ABS. vvierd

Yeah, I think I'll wait instead of settling. More so for the ABS since it was mentioned adding an LSD wouldn't have contributed too much to the cost of the car. Unless anyone else wants to comment on the ABS?
