The car will be unveiled next week. But what's interesting is the headlight. Looks like Nissan is going that route with the headlights. Kinda shaped like the Star Trek symbol. Kinda ugly. We'll have to see how it looks...

my mom has a 04 maxima and its a nice car but torque steers like crazy. but on the freeway it hauls ass. i might try and get her to trade in hers for a new one if they are nice.

my friend has a 05 G35 and its a much smaller car than the maxima. interior wise.

Now that I see this, I'm speculating that the magazine that made the those renderings of the 370Z were going off of what the new Maxima looks like. They were probably told that the new Z would have similar headlights.

I do remember the general public did not like the 'tooth' grille and that didn't get passed onto the new Altima and refreshed models. However, I think its too late for that on the Z and it's headlights.

Every car co. stops making a car then brings it back. With the 1 series coming out and the Solstice being 2 somewhat affordable rwd cars they could create a market. If a market is created they will build it. The Camaro came back. The Z came back and the GTR came back and in our country. You guys dont work for Nissan USA so you dont know. I think in the next 3 or 4 years Nissan will have to answer to all these new RWD cars that are out. JMO flame me if you want. Yes the Maxima is busted and its a shame because I always liked it.

You've missed numerous ongoing posts about a future 240/Silvia. And you misunderstood what RedEvilRPS13 said. The fact is Nissan IS working on a new 240/Silvia. What he was saying is that it will NOT be a S-Chassis vehicle as that chassis is dead.

I'm willing to bet the headlight detail is part of Nissan's new corporate identity.
Nissan more than other companies uses the same form vocabulary over most of it's model range.
It will not surprise me at all if the 370Z has a similar headlight treatment.

I dont think its that bad. The body reminds me of the altima but with a hint of the new toyota camry/ES due to the tailight style, trunk and how the side arch bulges out from the main body line...

lol I thought the same thing about the Z. The front bumper very vaguely reminds me of the Brash Boy front bumper too.

I like the Maxima headlights better than that Z's (even though the Z is most likely a photoshop job), and I hate the Maxima's headlights.
