I have posted this on FA and the amarok list:

Hey all,
We are planning a 240sx owners meeting here in Greenville NC. The reason I am choosing here is because we have a shop to hang out at, a large parking lot that can handle a large group, and a place to eat in the same strip center. The shop name is JK Motorsports. It s a very 240sx freindly store; the owner, the owners son, the son's girlfriend, and I own a 240. Tentative date is November 23rd..at aorund 1: 00 in the afternoon. If you want I can try to get the Nissan Dealership to bring a 350 over for us to look at and stuff. We have needed a good meet here in NC for a while so I decided to plan one. Oh yeah one more thing..NO COPS TO RUN US OFF..provided we behave and not race up and down the road. Oh yeah we will be raffling off a B&M Shifter (a 250 dollar value) I will be posting this to every 240 forum and mailing list I can find..and as more details come up I will post them here. I went a long time ago to a meet there. Was a lot of fun. First time I ever saw an SR close up (Greasers), saw a drift AE86. Good stuff.

Thanks for jumping in man..lol I need the help getting some people to come. I talked to greaser to see if he would come but he's going the meet down in Florida..I mistakenly planned this meet the same weekend as the florida meet so he and his group won't be coming, but I think Jeff from Epik Motorsports is comin up from Myrtle Beach and is bring a good group with him. plus some guys should be coming from Charlotte as well. And of course there are at least 5 here in Greenville. Plus I am going ahead and planning for us to eat some good ole family style east NC barbeque at Parkers if thats cool with everyone(its cheap and the shop owner is a friend of the owner of Parkers)

I want to thank eveyone in advance whos coming..this is my first time planning a meet..its coming together quite nicely <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Eating at PARKERS!!!!! &nbsp; Hells Yeah! &nbsp;I use to date a girl from Tarboro and when we would go to greenville we would usually go to parkers. IIRC they also have the vinegar based slaw....oh yeah. Tell all to be prepared to get stuffed!!

yep...at the intersection where Firetower and Pitt is,go down 2 more lights and at the second light is Forlines Rd (there is a Harley dealership before the light on the right. hang a right at that light and go down to the stop sign and look to your left ..there is JK. &nbsp;I'm glad you know the area, Brandon. this will help alot..so do you want to lead eveyone to the meet or do you want me to still write out some directional info?..lol

As for the time were meeting, OK then, we'll plan on meeting at the gastation at 10'ish and departing around 10:30-10:45'ish. I just know how red lights and traffic usually messes up convoy's. Then we all have to slow down and wait for the people who got caught at the light...yadda, yadda, yadda....since not EVERYBODY knows where we're going.

so texaco as close to ten as we can make it cool. &nbsp;if anyone has walkies (i.e. those motorola FSR ones) bringum. I got two and that should help us keep together somewhat.

alright guys heres the directions..i wished i could include some mileage but my trusty s13 odometer gave out on the way home and recorded no miles for the 40 or so it is, here they are:
From 264 East out of Raliegh:
Exit 36-A Wilson/Sims
At light at top of over pass turn left onto east 264
264 Becomes Raliegh Road
Go thru 6 stoplights
At 7th light turn right onto Ward Blvd.
Go thru 5 stoplights
At 6th light turn left onto US 301N
Go thru 4 stoplights
At 5th light turn right onto Martin Luther King Jr Parkway (hwy58/264east)
Go thru 2 stoplights and becomes 264 east.
Head towards new overpass, go thru stoplight (its basically at the overpass) and over the overpass, then take the Greenville off-ramp to the right (WATCH THE SIGNS..IT’S A LITTLE CONFUSING)

You are now traveling on Hwy 264 east to Greenville apprx. 35 miles

Watch that speed, keep it under 75 or the Po-Po will come get you


Coming into Greenville DO NOT take exit 73 to Washington, keep straight on the 4 lane
Go thru 2 stoplights
At 3rd stoplight turn right onto Arlington Blvd
Go thru 1 stoplight
At 2nd stoplight turn right onto Memorial Drive
Go thru 9 stoplights (will pass a few car dealerships, a mall, Pitt Community College)
At 10th stoplight turn right onto Forlines Rd. (there is a Harley Davidson Dealer on the right before this light)
Go to last turn it on the left before the stop sign, its Reedy Branch Center and JK Motorsports is there


ok..be careful on the roads cuz some are bumpy for those with lowered cars. for those coming up or down on I-95 it runs into 264 right after you exit off of the main hwy to head into Wilson..once you get to Wilson on I-95 you can follow the same directions.

Also we are expected at Parkers around 4:30 -5<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'>0 and it will be about 10.00 per person (it includes drink, tip, and all you can eat everything family style) if anyone else has anymore questions then please email me at [email protected] or at [email protected] or visit the site at www.jkmsports.com and remeber to brign money fo rthe raffles..Tein TC Rods, and a B&M Shifter. Truely an awesome meet! I even had the fortune to take home a B&M shifter kit (bowel movement?). After dinner, kyle, phil, jason, the prelude guy (sory bro i forgot your name <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> ), and I cruised to raleigh thru some backroads. At one point we started tearin thru these dipping short curves and I had trouble keeping up with kyle and holding onto the pavemen at the same time <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':crazy:'> .

Anyway, heres a few pics that I took (mines the green S14, 4th from the front. The one that looks closest to stock <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':cool:'> ). I have these pictures and more in much larger and detailed format, but they woulda taken too much server bandwidth. However Id gladly send them via email to whoever wants them.

I had a blast I'll try and get my pictures up tomorrow. &nbsp;it was great meeting everyone/seeing everyone again. &nbsp;it was fun finding out how slow my SR is compared to kyles 4psi chromed out monster <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> &nbsp; &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':crazy:'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> &nbsp; hAhaha &nbsp;good to see a shop not built around the APC catalog too. &nbsp;some good quality work there. &nbsp;I would've jumped in on the raffle but I already had a SS and TC rods. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> &nbsp;fun to see a turnout of about 80% turbo too. &nbsp;all in all a good time. &nbsp;needed some driving excittemnt though. &nbsp;just a thought for next time. &nbsp;im done rambling later folks.
