Anyone know which 4 lug rotors you can run on an S13 with Q45 brakes? I am running the stock 13 ones right now and they are a little small making groves in the pads, no real drivability problems but I am interested to see if there is any bigger rotor options out there? I heard something about altima rotors will thsoe work?

...ummm maybe q45 rotors... lol
s13 rotors are 10"
where as the q45 is 11", so id say that 1" difference is making the groove in your pad,,..although now i would for sure suggest you get new pads becasue you will mess up the rotor.. but they should be cheap.
HOPE IT HELPS :)

If you don't feel comfortable doing it then either pay a machine shop or one of the online retailers that will do it for you...
I think PDM racing will...
But going 5 lug will be a better option... Just use stock 4 lug 240SX brakes until then...
I run roadcourse events with stock 4 lug brakes with Carbotech race pads and they work better than most expect...

redrilling is simple bro...takes 10 minutes and your done, line up your old 4 lug rota! to your q45...you see when it is where you need it...if you cant figure that part out....sell you car...
rotrs are hub centric. you can make a monster size hole and will not matter..well...maybe...but you get my picture...I hope...
5 lug fo da win tho...
never get a set of 4 lugs to meet or match the ballerness of a 5 luga!
You can just get blank q45 rotors from autozone and get them drilled, they don't come pre drilled for five lug, you can even order them online cross drilled and slotted drilled four lug. Just search on google, I wish I had done that, I paid 35 bucks for my rotors and 25 to get each one drilled, so I spend 85 bucks when I could have spent 110 to get them cross drilled and slotted and only drilled four times instead of 8. Still though, they are good enough, the cost of going five lug isn't worth it imho, unless you want to get five lug wheels.

If you're lazy and don't have a lot of time, sell your car. Seriously.
You're asking about brakes, the most important safety feature on your car, and you're looking to half ass it. Great.

stop telling the guy to sell his car and just tell him where to get rotors already drilled for 4 lug.

1990-1996 Infiniti Q45 5lug (Rotors Only) - $85/front pair or $75/rear pair
or buy front/rear for $150
Redrilling 5lug 300zx or 5lug q45 rotors to 4lug will be $10 per rotor.
Stop being so fucking ghetto, new S13 guys make me sick.

Where to buy them already drilled? I don't know, the internet maybe? Or what about drilling them himself? Not too hard to do there either, let's see...
in his basement? At a shop? Under the bridge on Route 9? Do I really need to tell someone where to find a fucking drill or where to buy rotors?
The fact is there is absolutely no need for this post, or the two hundred others asking completely fucking retarded shit to even exist. Clearly he's alright with using a rotor too small for the caliper and grooving out the pads, so why do we even need to hold the fool's hand?
Or just go to a junkyard and get them for 1/2 the price of that guy selling them. I should really start selling these things, could make a killing.

Only if you're selling them to Q45 owners. You should know by now that 240SX owners can't afford a pair of $10 used rotors. This thread is case in point.

Thanks guys this was a big waste of space, I went out and ordered a Q45 and an 93 altima rotor and put them together guess what i found? EXACT same rotor, only one was 27 bucks and one was 18, oh and one was 5 lug and one was 4 lug. 18 bucks 4 lug, no drilling required 93 Altima, for those of you that actually cared, for those of you that wasted 75 bucks and had to drill your own, have a good day:fawkd:

im not a fool I was just looking for the SAFEST way to find the RIGHT rotor for the aplication, because like you said it is the most important part of the car, therefore I dont see the need to make fun of me or slander me, because obviously i dont need anyone to hold my hand, yes I answered it all by my self but through much trouble, and money spent that I didnt need to, but anyway for future refrence and people that think out side the drilling box there is your answer ALTIMAs! ftw

Actually, no... They're 22mm thick.

At the end of it all, his best bet is to avoid that yang he has been talking trying to cheap out, and just go ahead and get the Q45s drilled, which is less expensive (hubs/rotors/wheels) than the "just go 5-lug" shit that people preach like someone can just wake the fuck up one morning and be 5-lug.

i would rather have the safety of stock drilled rotors then worry about drilling them myself, besides problem has been solved
