I wear payless. Nike's are for people who want to look rich but are young, and can't afford designer gears.

In addition, Nike is made in China. So payless is just as good and fine for me when I get oil on them I don't worry.

For skating I'd go with DC. For walking I go with reebok (classics) because they are one of the lightest. For working on my 240sx I go with flip flops or some sort of cheap black shoes. I don't know what steve maddens are. When I was a kid, I would buy hundred dollar shoes but as I got older and worked and lived on my own, I see that there's better way of spending $500 dollars. That's just me. If you're rich or want to look rich, more power to you. For $500 on each pair of shoes, I"ll get 4 pairs of payless and get T3/T4 and tuned it to the max.

You're correct, I don't have the slightest idea what SB's are. I have a pair of Bapestas. That's the most I will ever payfor a pair of shoes and it was a gift. In addition, it's made in Japan. (JDM 4 life).
