Ok, my car started having problems, when i give it more than a little bit of gas it would stutter real bad. I checked my safc and it said the throttle voltage was only .005 or sometimes .010 , which i know its supposed to be .ike .050 at idle..also my safc wasnt reading any % when i gave it gas.

so i got another tps sensor and replaced it and it still isnt working, i tried adjusting the tps already and it doesn't work still.

so basicaly is there anything else that could be causing it to read bad voltage/not work? or did i just get another bad tps?

thanks

use a multi meter and check exactly what the tps is reading out if its reading right then u can cross that off ur list

check the plug coming off the wires while the car is on?

also after driving around today, the voltage fluctuates from .005 to .5

so sometimes it runs ok then the next second it doesnt work worth a damn..

Check your wiring ( on your SAFC there is a TPS wire that you had to run to your ecu ) make sure its a good connection. If you use crimpers...thats a no no. You want a good direct connection. Try soldering the wires off the SAFC harness.

If that fails.

Check your TPS sensor output voltage.

I hope my last thread might help:
