I have nothing to do this weekend and i realized I have never checked my timing. So I was gonna go ahead and take care of that.


And I was wondering if anyone was running anything other than stock timing? and if so what are you running and did you feel any differance.

i wouldnt advise you change ur timing..i heard eventually in the long run..ull ruin your car valves..its good for a race car..but not a beater

Yeah, i wasnt looking to advance it alot or anything. I just wanted to check it make sure it was in spec. But I was just curious to see if anyone was running anything else but stock.

Hehe, not really running. Just put the head back on and was turning the freagin distributor till hte car started. Today checked the timing and it was at 14, so there ya go <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> took it for a spin just to see i didn't mess up anything with install and this is what i found: The car feels sluggish, but the engine is soooooooo smooth <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
