Im wondering if a ac compressor off of a s14 zenki will bolt up to a s13 w/ka24de?
has anyone tried this before without cutting the hardlines?

Negative. I tried an S13 Compressor from a DE motor on my S14 and all the bolts dont line up and the pulley sits out further than it should. PM me if you are looking for an S13 compressor that i still have in my house, might be expensive to ship to "Guahan". :)

actually im trying to sale my s14 zenki compressor to a guy with a s13 but i guess it wont fit :faint: , Im thinking you would need the matching bracket for the compressor and then it would bolt up.
I got the compressor for my kouki thinking since it was a s14 it should fit but later on finding out that the lines are diffrent between the years.

If you have the bracket too it will bolt to the engine, but you'll still need to weld new ends on the lines.

I thought the ends for the lines still lined up? Been a while since I looked at it. Good luck!

i think it depends on the year of s13. i know the fittings on the firewall are different between 90 and 91

SOHC and DOHC, completely different engines, of course they're fittings are different. Nothing is swappable between those models.

i know the compressors are not the same, so i understand why the compressor side fittings would be different. but i always wondered why the firewall fittings are different.

Different evaporator and case. The entire was redesigned around the new engine, changing everything.
