im on the fence on this one. is here any way you could measure the new ones and compare it too the old ones? also they might not fit because of the s13 collars/washer.

S13, S14, S15, Z32, J30, Q45 all use the same subframe bushings. ES should have updated their site to include the other models.

thanks for clearing that up for me. i thought it was but... i didnt want to make an ass of my self
i have these and unless you wanna rig them up to fit, i wouldnt recommend them. you will need to make sure you keep the metal sleeves in once you burn out the old bushings. some trimming of the bushing needs to be done to make it fit. and no you will not need to press them as they will not fit tight.
are you sture you need to keep the metal sleeve? wi would think you take them out. and you juss press these in. and the washers sold hold them in.
can i use solid spacers on top of these? or is it juss pointless and i should juss get solid haha.
but i rahter have oem so its not as harsh. nismo cost a grip.!

i am 100% positive because i cut them out of my first subframe, found out that these fuckers didnt fit and had to source out another subframe. if i could do it again, i woulda just paid the money and went with nismo hard rubber bushings.

i believe it would be easier to get the ES bushings into the subframe WITHOUT the thin metal sleeve on the inside of the subframe itself. i recently did a full ES master bushing kit on my S13. it will also be easier to press these badboys in if you take the metal sleeve out of the INSIDE of the ES poly bushing, THEN press that in once the bushing is set in the subframe.

well if we were talking about the other suspension components and not the subframe, yes, it would be EASIER but unfortunately, we are talking about bushings designed for another car (z32), being used on a different car (s13). even with the metal sleeve in, the z32 subframe bushing will go in if u just press it down with your hands (not a real tight fit). without the sleeve, its not touching shit.

put these two together and you have the correct answer!
so the metal sleave is needed?
es should make a write up on how to install them.
so confusing.
nismo cost like double the price of es.
and i can make it as solid as nismo.
i was just going to fill the inbetween space with urathen.
Is the picture on courtesyparts the actual item?
+repped every1 thanks for help.
so the metal sleave is needed?
lol. once again, yes.
also note you will either have to trim the bushing or cut the lip at the bottom of sleeve (which should still be on the subframe) off. this is due to the z32 bushing being taller.
if u hate rigging shit, then spend some more money for nismo or just go spl.
if you do some poking around, you may be able to find a thread where someone documented the dimensions that the z32 bushing was trimmed down to.
if you do some major poking around, you may be able to find this european company that makes subframe bushings specifically for 240sx. they had one for the s14 iirc, not sure about the s13.
