Here's more info on it. I stumbled across the link below about 2 months ago, when it still had the Hello Kitty logo. It looks like he has changed the logo on it due to all the press it generated.

Some of you may have noticed that the rifle has taken on a slightly different appearance lately. Apparently there are a lot of people out there that just do not get parody and are completely misinformed as to the true meaning of this rifle. Even though I have made it abundantly clear that this is a one of a kind rifle that is NOT for sale, the media, politians, and multi-million dollar companies just don't seem to have much of a sense of humor and strive to stifle free speech and freedom of expression. Even an ignorant mayor of a major US city assumed this rifle is being mass produced and marketed to children. It's much easier to just let you junior staffers and ignorant media feed you false information than to find out the truth for yourself. I will have much more to blog about this whole situation real soon. In the meantime I am going to close comments on this blog entry. Hopefully it will be back open soon. Thanks for all the interesting debate and comments and we will continue this later...
