The Whole Rice Topic

Well everybody knows the saying of Rice Racers this and that. But what are the standards. I have found a website ran buy a bunch of domestic lovers, chevys to be precise. They have pictures of "rice racers" and have little notes on them so if you think something is ricey check here first.

Honestly though, when domestic guys create these sites it looks lame. I always believed that the only people that are allowed to run rice sites are import people themselves. Cuz domestic folks like to exagerate too much.

Definition:
rice - making your car look fast while still being slow.

As for what it means to me, the show divides in 2 parts for me.
1st - clean cars - lowered, nice exhaust, rims, etc that actually makes it look nice.
2nd - rice - all the stuff that makes a car look bad - park benches, 3" lowered, 20" rims, conversions etc.
basicly rice is overdone show imho.

I've never liked using the word "rice" for cars. Rice is a good source of food and is pretty cheap to grow/obtain. I'd prefer to use words like tasteless, tacky, shoddy.... stuff like that.... maybe ugly but that's a little extreme.... (in most cases)
