ok this problem has me stumped...ive searched and tried all of the suggestions that i have found to no avail

my windshield wipers stopped working a few months ago and i have tried just about everything to get them working

i tested the motor and it works fine, i tried getting a new windshield wiper amp and it didnt change anything

i checked the connector that hooks into the windshield wiper motor and it has a constant power, but its a weaker signal than my other 240sx had (it just lit the light on my tester up, as opposed to the good car lighting it up and causing the tester to buzz as well)

ive checked fuses and they are fine

my last resort would be the switch, but if its the switch...how is the connector to the windshield wiper motor still having a constant power?

try some of this. My wipers were stuck once and i sprayed some of this on the arms then bingo!!

Did you check the mechanics of the wiper system? You could have a joint that came loose. Check under the vent plate just below the windshield.

ive had all the mechanics apart and checked everything, it all moves smoothly and is connected

Have you tried to check the continuity of the wire from the switch to the motor? Also check the grounding. Do you have any other electrical issues?

Also, have you tried hooking up 12v directly to the motor, to make them work with out the switch/relay/other wiring.... It would help in finding a problem.

i have no other electrical issues other than this not working (headlights work fine, blinkers, etc. etc.) i know the motor works as ive checked it on my other car, im going to try to check the grounds, even though they all seem to be connected properly im going to recheck them...what grounds are there for the windshield wipers exactly? isnt there just the one that is grounded on the strut tower?
