I am getting ready to pick up an S15 steering wheel for my S14. Where was the factory cruise control located?
I may just lose it as I never use it anyway.
Is there a way to adapt it to the S15 wheel?

i haven't yet seen a JDM car with cruise. could be wrong, but i don't think it comes on the s15 wheel. to answer your question, it can be adapted. there's a plastic piece on the side of the wheel that you need to cut a hole in and you need to trim the cover piece for the cruise buttons to sit on a more flat surface. it sits a little further back but it still works. i'd post some pictures, but i don't have any worthwhile ones and my car is several thousand miles away from me. i can walk you through it though.

That's what I was looking for more or less...could I adapt my 'button cluster' to the S15 wheel if I wanted or if there was a spot they went on the silvia I could more than likely use on my car even if I needed to get a trim panel.

Or use an S13 switch, they're smaller and easier to flush in somewhere.

that's the same setup as importnut. works great with a momo style wheel but wouldn't work with a factory wheel since that back shroud is covered by the wheel.
Thanks though.
