Fuck, this thing is giving me hell! I got it all installed the other day. I have it connected to the DB gauge, which works fine. I hooked up the other analog output from the lc-1 to my datalogit box. Well today, I went in the datalogit program, set the input voltage so it would read correctly when I log it. I hooked up the laptop to the LC-1 to program the output to match what I set in datalogit. Now here is the problem. I can't get the lm programmer program to open, it keeps saying to connect the device. It's all hooked up fine, my serial port on the laptop works fine, I can't figure out what the deal is. I searched innovate's forum, but it seems like nobody knows why it does this. If anyone has had this problem and got it to work, please let me know how, this is driving me fucking crazy.

You could try messing around with the order that you hook things up. Play around with starting the lc-1 programmer first then plugging it in then turn on the lc-1. Hard to explain but just play around with the way you start each step. I know my LM-1 is kind of funny like that.

make sure you either have the logworks OR the lc-1 programmer running (only one or the other, not both), that's all I can think of at this moment. are you able to get realtime data using logworks from your lc-1/ db gauge chain?

did you try changing the serial port which the lm programmer reads? It's been a long time since i've messed with it, but when you open the programer up, without the device plugged in the serial port, you should be able to go under options or whatever to change the com-port, i think thats what they call it.
