Ok my car has been doing this noise for a while now. everytime i go sideways so that my car doesnt hit the road (because its lowered) and i turn all the way i hear a noise kind of like a poping sound when i coutersteer. and ITs now the noise the PS pump makes. and it also does it when im driving and turnig and the road has bumps.thanks

well the popping noise is probably your tierods, and have you checked you power steering reservoir to see if your low on ps fluid, aka brake fluid, dont put ps fluid in it, my friend did and after normal driving the fluid would boil

I don't think you're supposed to run BRAKE fluid through power steering, I was always told use ATF...

new ball joints. i scoped it out and looks like the PS rack bushings allows the rack to move which i think allows play on my steering. ordered the poly bushings just gonna have wait to see if that helps or takes care of problem.

If what everyone else says doesn't help, next best bet would be to check if your front suspension is binding. That is all.
