Anyone have any experiance with this? It looks simular to the Nismo Lower Power Bar that Jspec.com has just a dif design and its alot cheaper. It connects in front of your Front sway bar to your tension rods or where those mount to. I was just wonder what everyones thoughts on this bar was or if anyone even knew about it, its new to me. Its only like $69 from this site, but of course you have to pay like 5,000 yen + 1,000 yen to get it sent to the US.

Very interesting. Seems like it does the same thing as a front H brace. Not sure if that's the right term for it.

Looks like it just stiffens chasis rigidity a little. Not bad for the price.

I would love to get my hands on some cusco swaybars, just cause their blue!

Thats new to me. &nbsp;looks like a great idea.. &nbsp; and for $69 how can you go wrong.

Where did you find it at? &nbsp;for that kind of price I might buy one myself.

hmm... if I am looking at it right, it looks like it is connecting the two t/c rods in a path similar to the sway? &nbsp;Like a lower strut tie bar on and double wishbone?

I think it acts just as a strutbar would. Mainley because it's not attached to any moving peices like a swaybar is. However I don't know if the cross braces that the TC rods are bolted to warp at all during cornering.

from the looks of it it looks like toe can be manipulated to a further degree with that

camppain - How would you be able to adjust toe with that bar, I'm not quite sure I see what your talking about? &nbsp;

I think it just removes any flex that would be present at the mounting points for the T/C rods.. &nbsp;esentially maintaining suspension geomety to a greater degree. &nbsp;I think comparing it to a Strut tower brace is right on.

if you see it has threads in the middle the bar bolts up to the tc rods which connect to the control arm......which now that i am thinking is probably morefor either caster or camber since you brought it up. but it should allow for one of the alignment settings i stated, which one i dont know <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':huh:'>

T/C rods control Caster.. &nbsp; but if you were to try to control caster from that bar you would be flexing the chasis right? &nbsp;don't the T/C rods bolt directly to a chassis mount?

I'm pretty sure it's just a chassis brace. &nbsp;It wouldn't be able to alter any alignment settings b/c it's not attached to any sort of moving suspension component. &nbsp;That little adjustment is just for tightening the fitment so it can actually do its job as a brace...just like the adjustment on an STB.

That's what I was saying... a lower strut tie bar (a la Honda bling bling fame). &nbsp;

I'd agree it can't change any suspension settings either. &nbsp;But I also don't think it would really do anything good for the rest of the car. &nbsp;I read some long detailed piece for a BMW that explained why strut tie bars weren't of any real use on a double wishbone and were of even less use on a macphereson strut. &nbsp;Something to the effect of there is no load down there b/c the McP set up is already load/force bearing and there was no stress applied to that geometry point. &nbsp;Take it as you will.

To me, it looks like more $ and more weight w/o any benefits.

hmmm...interesting. &nbsp;There was a very noticeable difference when I installed my STB's.

STBs are different b/c that connects the tops of the towers. &nbsp;There is no other horizontal reinforcement in that area. &nbsp;That is a prime area of mush and chassis flex.
