Hey guys. I was replacing my rocker cover gaskets on my '93 FB a few days ago and accidently dropped a wooden stick down one of the spark plug holes (very, very stupid, I know...), so now I have to rip my head off.
Anyways, my question is, how do I make sure that the #1 piston is at TDC on its compression stroke? Do I have to take note which position the camshafts are in before I remove them, or is there marks or some other method I can use to make sure they are in the right spot when I re-install them? The FSM isn't too helpful in some aspects, so I thought I ask you guys.
BTW, anyone know of a shop or guy than will port/polish a head in Southern Ontario for cheap?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>
